In the 15th minute Airūnas Endrulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimondas Kuodys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18th play minutes Airūnas Endrulis shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Raimondas Kuodys and just under the crossbar into goal. Airūnas Endrulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimondas Kuodys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 22nd minute when Airūnas Endrulis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Arturo Brownell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Airūnas Endrulis in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimondas Kuodys saved UNITED Kaunas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Airūnas Endrulis in the 40th minute of play forced UNITED Kaunas's goalkeeper Raimondas Kuodys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artūras Ronaldo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimondas Kuodys. Raimondas Kuodys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 47 minutes into the game, Airūnas Endrulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Raimondas Kuodys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Airūnas Endrulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Airūnas Endrulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimondas Kuodys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Airūnas Endrulis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. FC COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 59 minutes into the match, Airūnas Endrulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raimondas Kuodys. UNITED Kaunas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Airūnas Endrulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Airūnas Endrulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Raimondas Kuodys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimondas Kuodys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Airūnas Endrulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 66 minutes of play, FC COSA NOSTRA's Airūnas Endrulis made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimondas Kuodys was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Airūnas Endrulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimondas Kuodys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Raimondas Kuodys throw himself and got hold of the ball when Airūnas Endrulis in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Raimondas Kuodys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Airūnas Endrulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UNITED Kaunas's Nedas Buzelis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stanislaw Trojanowski, made in the 76th minute of the game. Erikas Mikoliūnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemensas Bazaras in the 77th minute of play. Airūnas Endrulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimondas Kuodys having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Artūras Ronaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimondas Kuodys was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
