A throw-in in the 29th minute of the game was made by Paulius Margelis with Daugirdas Matulevičius as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 33 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Adolfo Carrizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Haedelt. Saúl Gentiletti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but A.J. 杜义俊 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. A.J. 杜义俊 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saúl Gentiletti in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Saúl Gentiletti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Žalia Giria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saúl Gentiletti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Žalia Giria made a substitution. Ramūnas Lipskis replaced Hikmet Lebib. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Haedelt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Astijus Orbakas's late challenge caught a Aleksotas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The FC Žalia Giria players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
