In the 18th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 31st minute. A collision led to Gnaget United FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jerry Inglebert hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Gnaget United FC got a freekick which was hit by Carl Jonsson. Thanks to some nice moves Clóvis Cabral could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Marcus Ekrot however easily saved by the left post. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 36th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Clóvis Cabral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Ekrot, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bogdan Utretskiy made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Eden. 60 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Utretskiy came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Clóvis Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
