The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Ascı in the 6th minute of play forced Fear Of The Dark's goalkeeper Okanalp Çağman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fear Of The Dark's Fermin Lizbeth got a free kick in the 15th minute. Doğuhan Serbülend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Okanalp Çağman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erhan Ascı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lemi Uğurlubey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğuhan Serbülend, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Fear Of The Dark's Okanalp Çağman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. 赵云 in the 30th minute of play. Erhan Ascı might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Okanalp Çağman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erhan Ascı ran back to his position shaking his head. Okanalp Çağman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erhan Ascı in the 35th minute of play. Gothic Souls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by D.J. 赵云 in the 41st minute. After taking down the ball on Gothic Souls's corner D.J. 赵云 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Okanalp Çağman quite easily take care of the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Gothic Souls got a corner. Fear Of The Dark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. D.J. 赵云 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erdinç Sarıalp hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erhan Ascı to make the kick off.
