The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoine Miggiani got free with Israel Contreras in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Meerkats FC's Antoine Miggiani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Fabio Rapa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Israel Contreras, 2-0. Timothy De Battista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Saborio helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Saborio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Meerkats FC got a freekick which was hit by Timothy De Battista. In the 38th minute of the match Mikael Viquez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Sant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 39 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Duran. Fabio Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoine Miggiani. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Antoine Miggiani came free, but Israel Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Miggiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Antoine Miggiani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meerkats FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Nathan Sant made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Fabio Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy De Battista in the 69th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Rapa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Israel Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Gianluca Dalli got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Gabriel Duran was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. The supporters of Meerkats FC booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Duran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Contreras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timothy De Battista went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Jean Paul Taliana notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of OROTINENSE's Israel Contreras. Israel Contreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Miggiani in the 96th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Israel Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Arthur Teuma made a precise shot to the right of Israel Contreras. OROTINENSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Meerkats FC had played much better football throughout.
