But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Figueroa Aviñante couldn't finish the play. Figueroa Aviñante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Nathan Sant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Timothy De Battista got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nathan Sant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Lombillo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Meerkats FC's Nathan Sant got control of the ball when Gonzalo Barja tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Lombillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Lombillo made a kick off. A collision led to Roneros F.C. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Xandro Alamon hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alberto Lombillo put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nathan Sant. Nathan Sant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Roneros F.C.'s Alberto Lombillo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Roneros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Luzuriaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Walter Luzuriaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathan Sant was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Luzuriaga in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Sant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Sant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Luzuriaga's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
