Ted van der Schaaf hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Karol Pilitowski came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the KN ZGORZELEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Pilitowski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted van der Schaaf in the 17th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Kazimierz Cipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lemel SV's attentive Boudewijn Zeeman managed to snatch the ball when Artur Gongola made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Kajetan Czciborek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lemel SV's Folker Ubels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Zagrobelny in the 27th minute of play. Karol Pilitowski's late challenge caught a Lemel SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Teun Schoenmakers made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Folker Ubels got control of the ball when Konrad Zagrobelny tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Konrad Zagrobelny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folker Ubels. Lemel SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konrad Zagrobelny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kajetan Czciborek in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folker Ubels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazimierz Cipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teun Schoenmakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KN ZGORZELEC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
