A collision led to Santos Campineiro getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Albertinho Brito hit a great ball. Amado Cordeara was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Fábio Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos Campineiro's protests and gave Fábio Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. Fábio Xavier hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Rene Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. John Igor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Santos Campineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Ekaitz came free, but John Igor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Artal charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Artal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 19 minutes into the match, Campana Gitanes Club's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Moretti came free, but Florencio Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Tróia took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Innocenzio. Florencio Innocenzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Matheus Moretti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Florencio Innocenzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Bernebe's late challenge caught a Santos Campineiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Bernebe helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Albertinho Brito missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 35 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Florencio Innocenzio right hand side. In the 37th minute, Matheus Moretti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Xavier to maneuver through the defense. When Andrézinho Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos Campineiro's protests and gave Andrézinho Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 49th match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 55 minutes, Matheus Moretti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos Campineiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Moretti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Santos Campineiro's Albertinho Brito got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Matheus Moretti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Amado Cordeara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campana Gitanes Club and the Santos Campineiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amado Cordeara hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rene Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho Brito was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Campana Gitanes Club booed when Santos Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho Loureiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Campana Gitanes Club's Rene Artal got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Igor made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rene Artal sent off a good shot on target. Santos Campineiro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
