Jacinto Cross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Paprotny in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Naelio Marx hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Barria during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Nestor Barria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Paprotny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jacinto Cross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Cross dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Gocław Wilga Warszawa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
