The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Reza Abdi got free with Cherif Badis in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cherif Badis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nariman Mansourian in the 16th minute of play. Ahmad Abedzadeh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youssef Malek, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ahmad Abedzadeh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youssef Malek in the 24th minute of the match. If Youssef Malek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Anoush Khalatbari dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cherif Badis, 1-1. 30 minutes into the game, Saeed Ghods was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZ Country the free kick. A collision led to Iran getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kiumars Daneshjou hit a great ball. Iran's Ahmad Abedzadeh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halim Hamdoud in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nariman Mansourian in the 34th minute of play forced MZ Country's goalkeeper Cherif Badis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youssef Malek in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmad Abedzadeh saved Iran from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Kiumars Daneshjou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Halim Hamdoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZ Country's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halim Hamdoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Youssef Malek was the one to do the kick off. Cherif Badis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anoush Khalatbari in the 56th minute of play. MZ Country's Cherif Badis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anoush Khalatbari in the 57th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Farshid Nateghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Country's Cherif Badis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Country's zone, Nariman Mansourian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cherif Badis came out of the goal and Nariman Mansourian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MZ Country's Chadli Boudjedra was substituted for Youssef Malek. The Iran fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
