After 13 minutes of play, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Clóvis Toledo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wellington Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adalberto de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by César de Godoi in the 25th minute of play forced Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wilian Paes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Casa Real de Savóia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Paes couldn't finish the play. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clóvis Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório Ferreira hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Motta was the one to do the kick off. Gil Motta struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Santo Marcos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco FC. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Felipe Anderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wellington Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 77 minutes, Wilian Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute of the game, Sílvio Luís da Silva landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s Kauan Leme was substituted for Sílvio Luís da Silva. Tiago Gabriel Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Vasco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Paes came free, but Wellington Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vasco FC's zone, Clóvis Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Barbosa came out of the goal and Clóvis Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the game, Clóvis Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Wellington Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diego Teixeira hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Jonas Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Vasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Veloso couldn't finish the play. Casa Real de Savóia F.C. played a much better game than Vasco FC and deserved their victory. The Vasco FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
