The supporters of France booed when Indonesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parto Harmoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacôme Daire in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Arthur Geneste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the Indonesia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Indonesia fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
