Haji Sarap was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Indonesia's goalkeeper Haji Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Borges. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Borges in the 28th minute of play. In the 80th minute Luís Eduardo Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arvin Sutrisna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brazil's Nilmar de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Sutrisna in the 82nd minute of play. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morales Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Brazil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Indonesia the free kick. After 90 played minutes Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Moraes. Indonesia's Novri Goeslaw was substituted for Cosmas Simbolon. Indonesia made a substitution. Coky Sugandi replaced Arvin Sutrisna. After 91 played minutes Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Moraes. In the 94th minute Luís Eduardo Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brazil had won after a very even match.
