After 12 played minutes Israel got a freekick which was hit by Tanner Ringler. In the 13th minute, Peter Habich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luxembourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Habich in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannan Hamdani saved Israel from getting behind. In the 18th minute of the match Luxembourg got a corner. Israel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yannick Bartz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yannick Bartz made a great header on Luxembourg's corner, it was just that Israel's Hannan Hamdani managed to reach the ball for a save. 24 minutes into the game, Luxembourg's Peter Habich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hannan Hamdani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 27 minutes in the game Tanner Ringler did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Azazyahu Danilov. When Israel's Jared Wolfman in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luxembourg's goalie prevented a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Luxembourg's goal looked a bit too open when Danell Mackiathan came free, but Karlheinz Ludecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karlheinz Ludecke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayalon Shem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Peter Habich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Israel's Hannan Hamdani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Israel's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yannick Bartz was slow to take the kick. During this time Luxembourg's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Luxembourg's Yannick Bartz to fire away a dangerous shot which Hannan Hamdani despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Luxembourg's goal looked a bit too open when Danell Mackiathan came free, but Karlheinz Ludecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Jared Wolfman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Luxembourg's Karlheinz Ludecke. Karlheinz Ludecke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jared Wolfman in the 53rd minute of play forced Luxembourg's goalkeeper Karlheinz Ludecke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Luxembourg's zone, Danell Mackiathan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karlheinz Ludecke came out of the goal and Danell Mackiathan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hannan Hamdani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Bruch in the 87th minute of play. Luxembourg's Karlheinz Ludecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jared Wolfman in the 89th minute of play. Hannan Hamdani came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Luxembourg's Simon Grünfeld. But to his dismay, Simon Grünfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Israel's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Luxembourg had won, even though Israel had held more of the ball.
