After a defensive mix-up in Poland's zone, Hasan Tahsin Erdem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zygmunt Majczyk came out of the goal and Hasan Tahsin Erdem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Turgut Soyuer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Şafak Akdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poland were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Turkey's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miroslaw Hetman took the corner. Turkey's Saltuk Erva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Turkey from getting a goal against them. Zygmunt Majczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhteşem Ali in the 91st minute of play. Damazy Joks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Saltuk Erva made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Turkey had played much better football throughout.
