Jenaro Coronel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dmitriy Cheryshev scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jenaro Coronel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Epifanio Zárate made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Russia's Andrey Ostrovskiy. A collision led to U21 Dominican Republic getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Horacio Carbonari hit a great ball. U21 Russia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
