Erez Manco came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Croatia's Mislav Oršić. But to his dismay, Mislav Oršić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to U21 Peru getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Iván Sotomayor hit a great ball. U21 Croatia's Siniša Stjepanović shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Erez Manco but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Villagomez in the 16th minute of play forced U21 Croatia's goalkeeper Ivan Krile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Peru's Erez Manco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mislav Oršić in the 19th minute of play. Erez Manco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franjo Fabijanić in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mislav Oršić in the 21st minute of play forced U21 Peru's goalkeeper Erez Manco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Peiro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Uzuri Sarabia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Krile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iván Sotomayor in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Krile saved U21 Croatia from getting behind. In the 75thth minute of the game Bo Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Peru's Erez Manco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Krile made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Vicente Locatelli sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, U21 Croatia's Bo Nesta got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes of play, U21 Peru's Kev Hurtado made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Krile was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 Peru's Erez Manco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Cantona in the 89th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
