Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Uzuri Sarabia made the kick off and thus started the match. U21 Dominican Republic's Jenaro Coronel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Dominican Republic from getting a goal against them. Jenaro Coronel came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Peru's Iván Sotomayor. But to his dismay, Iván Sotomayor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th play minute Ariel Villagomez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jenaro Coronel. 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, U21 Dominican Republic's goalkeeper Jenaro Coronel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Villagomez. After 15 played minutes U21 Peru got a freekick which was hit by Iván Sotomayor. A collision led to U21 Peru getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lucas Huidobro hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Uzuri Sarabia notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of U21 Dominican Republic's Jenaro Coronel. Jenaro Coronel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 22 minutes, Roger Peiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Peru and the U21 Dominican Republic players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes U21 Peru got a freekick which was hit by Roger Peiro. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ariel Villagomez sped through U21 Dominican Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jenaro Coronel. With a little luck, U21 Dominican Republic's Jenaro Coronel got control of the ball when Ariel Villagomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Veliz came free, but Erez Manco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jenaro Coronel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Villagomez in the 37th minute of play. Renato Tapia charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renato Tapia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Renato Tapia hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Seijas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erez Manco saved U21 Peru from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Alejo Veliz notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of U21 Peru's Erez Manco. Erez Manco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jenaro Coronel was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Ariel Villagomez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Villagomez really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.
U21 Peru made a substitution. Juan Manuel Vargas replaced Uzuri Sarabia. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Veliz to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Seijas came free, but Erez Manco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The U21 Peru fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when U21 Peru's Kev Hurtado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kev Hurtado scored 7-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jenaro Coronel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adán Larroca made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Raúl Gordillo immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, U21 Dominican Republic's Alejo Veliz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, U21 Dominican Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Daniele to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Kev Hurtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jenaro Coronel was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Adán Larroca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Epifanio Zárate fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Dominican Republic's protests and gave Epifanio Zárate a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes U21 Dominican Republic got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Zárate. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Peru had played much better football throughout.
