Seating: 2373, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yerko Gold started the match with the kick off. Saka Goleš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Villagomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yerko Gold received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erez Manco came out and tried to block the shot, but Yerko Gold slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Tobías Aliaga took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erez Manco. Erez Manco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jose Manuel Gajardo lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Sotomayor came free, but Saka Goleš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saka Goleš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Sotomayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, U21 Chile's Erez Manco threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yerko Gold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, U21 Peru's Erez Manco got control of the ball when Tobías Aliaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Villagomez came free, but Saka Goleš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saka Goleš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uzuri Sarabia, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Sotomayor came free, but Saka Goleš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yerko Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erez Manco having to interfere. U21 Peru made a substitution. Juan Manuel Vargas replaced Uzuri Sarabia. U21 Peru's Kev Hurtado was substituted for Iván Sotomayor.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Locatelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 55 minutes on the clock, Roger Peiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 55th match minute, U21 Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Peiro to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Nazario Huici came free, but Erez Manco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobías Aliaga's late challenge caught a U21 Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobías Aliaga helped the player get up and apologised. Tobías Aliaga kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Saka Goleš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Hurtado in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yerko Gold in the 66th minute of play forced U21 Peru's goalkeeper Erez Manco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the U21 Peru defense, Yerko Gold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erez Manco. The U21 Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erez Manco should have stopped the shot. A collision led to U21 Peru getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Renato Tapia hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes, U21 Chile's Guillermo Velarde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erez Manco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Chile reached it. U21 Chile's Saka Goleš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kev Hurtado in the 74th minute of play. Renato Tapia hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. U21 Chile's Saka Goleš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Chile from getting a goal against them. Saka Goleš was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vicente Locatelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 81 minute of play. After 85 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Yerko Gold. Saka Goleš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kev Hurtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yerko Gold in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erez Manco saved U21 Peru from getting behind. 92 minutes into the game, one of U21 Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
