Ciccio Bocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymerick Nadal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Bart Basson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Di Biagio. Ciccio Bocchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aymerick Nadal in the 16th minute of the match. Aymerick Nadal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciccio Bocchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aymerick Nadal in the 18th minute of play. Bart Basson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Di Biagio in the 20th minute of the match. Bart Basson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Lenders in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Italy's Fortunato Froněk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bart Basson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bart Basson was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Fortunato Froněk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fortunato Froněk really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 42nd match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Daguenet to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Lenders came free, but Bart Basson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Daguenet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciccio Bocchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aymerick Nadal to make the kick off. Ciccio Bocchi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by France's Hugues Calonne. But to his dismay, Hugues Calonne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 56thth minute of the game Hugues Calonne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Ciccio Bocchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. William Vasquez hit a great ball. Bart Basson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Presutti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alain Roche hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Alain Roche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Daguenet struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ciccio Bocchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. 5-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Anthony Pozzoli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bart Basson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Ciccio Bocchi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aymerick Nadal. In the 93rd minute, Hugues Calonne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciccio Bocchi. The goal made the score 5-3. In the 95th minute, Filippo Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bart Basson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3.
