The referee ignored U21 Indonesia's protests and gave Rahmad Lunggana a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of U21 Brazil booed when U21 Indonesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahmad Lunggana didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Brazil's Pedro Luiz Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahmad Lunggana in the 16th minute of play. U21 Indonesia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deilmison van Basten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
