Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xuaco Riba kicked off to start the match. Paco Macho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Miki Moco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 United States's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miki Moco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, U21 United States's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xuaco Riba. U21 United States's Bob Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintin Gomar in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Lionel Bolton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Quintin Gomar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bob Hyatt. Quintin Gomar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, U21 United States's goal looked a bit too open when Francesc Tamari came free, but Bob Hyatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Hyatt had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Francesc Tamari from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 29th minute Lionel Bolton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes U21 Spain got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Lopez. Xuaco Riba took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Hyatt. Bob Hyatt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sergio Gipson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loramendi Valdivia having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Sergio Gipson made the kick off in the second half. Loramendi Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Gipson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 United States made a substitution. Elvis Chavez replaced Federico Valverde. Socorro Atacan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. U21 United States's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miki Moco in the 65th minute. In the 65th match minute, U21 United States was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Hare to maneuver through the defense. U21 Spain's Lazaro Gabas was substituted for Jakes Arenas. The supporters of U21 Spain booed when U21 United States was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Hare didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Spain's Loramendi Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Chavez in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 United States's Elvis Chavez got a free kick in the 74th minute. U21 United States's Bob Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesc Tamari in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute Luk Lucky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loramendi Valdivia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Camaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 89 minutes into the match, U21 Spain's Carolo Camaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Hyatt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Carolo Camaño notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of U21 United States's Bob Hyatt. Bob Hyatt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carolo Camaño scored 4-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bob Hyatt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
