Albertino Gama was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albertino Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Bellucci in the 18th minute of play. Albertino Gama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthony Bellucci went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edoardo Toschi charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edoardo Toschi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alessio Punta might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertino Gama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Punta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute Alessio Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes U21 Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rubim Jordão. Alessio Punta scored 0-13 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albertino Gama, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
