Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Switzerland's Lester Fenstermacher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Finland's Hannu Paappanen got control of the ball when Lester Fenstermacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Maxime Moench shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannu Paappanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 6 in the game by Lester Fenstermacher from a close distance when the talented Hannu Paappanen managed to make a qualified save. Finland's players were relieved. In the 9th minute, Ahto Valin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannu Paappanen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxime Moench's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Finland's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Courtemanche came free, but Hannu Paappanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Roni Valkealahti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziro But saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Lester Fenstermacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hannu Paappanen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Switzerland's Ziro But played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Nummelin in the 21st minute of play. Eric Monday von Witzendorff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hannu Paappanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ziro But was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ziro But showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roni Valkealahti in the 39th minute of the match. Ziro But showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petri Kinnaslampi in the 83rd minute of the match. Ziro But made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Nummelin in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Petri Kinnaslampi came free, but Ziro But reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo Nummelin's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Nummelin helped the player get up and apologised. Timo Nummelin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Switzerland's Macho Boy was substituted for Maxime Moench. The Finland players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
