U21 Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clark Aaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clark Aaron got free with Péter Gulácsi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enoch Carrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ottó Forgács in the 8th minute of the match. Enoch Carrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Forgács in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Clark Aaron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Péter Gulácsi. U21 Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clark Aaron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If András Petres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute of the match U21 Hungary got a corner. U21 United States's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. György Bósa ran over to the corner to take the kick. U21 United States's Enoch Carrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ottó Forgács in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, U21 Hungary's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mihran Mkhitaryan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. András Petres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enoch Carrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Forgács in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Ottó Forgács left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Enoch Carrey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from András Petres, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, U21 United States was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrick Finn to maneuver through the defense. Olivér Asztalos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. U21 United States made a substitution. Chris Garrett replaced Santos West. The supporters of U21 United States booed when U21 Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivér Asztalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Clark Aaron made the kick off in the second half. If Ottó Forgács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enoch Carrey made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ottó Forgács sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers A.J. Bowles in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Péter Gulácsi saved U21 Hungary from getting behind. U21 United States's Enoch Carrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivér Asztalos in the 67th minute of play. Péter Gulácsi came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by U21 United States's Chupan Maria. But to his dismay, Chupan Maria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. U21 Hungary made a substitution. Károly Karsai replaced Sebestyén Czene. U21 Hungary made a substitution. Georgij Zhukov replaced György Bósa. In the 77th minute, Chupan Maria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Péter Gulácsi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a rather tough play, U21 United States's Bryce Hendrix got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tibor Nyilasi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. U21 Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Enoch Carrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Nyilasi in the 85th minute of play. Enoch Carrey made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Olivér Asztalos sent off a good shot on target. Clark Aaron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U21 United States's attentive Chris Garrett managed to snatch the ball when Baba Kuki made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. With a little luck, U21 United States's Enoch Carrey got control of the ball when Olivér Asztalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 United States had won after a very even match.
