Elmas Malo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Ernesto Sands could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Elmas Malo made a huge save. With an all-out effort, U21 United States's Elmas Malo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rick Gregg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. U21 United States's Enoch Carrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caupolicán Melinao in the 89th minute of play.
