Artuir Quinnless hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Colin Caballero scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Walker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the U21 Canada defense, Geoffrey Delaney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clayton Murdock. The U21 Canada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clayton Murdock should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goalkeeper Clayton Murdock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artuir Quinnless. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Ireland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilson Ford was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Canada's players had a chance to rest. 14 minutes into the match, Riddock Gallagher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clayton Murdock. U21 Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riddock Gallagher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoffrey Delaney in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clayton Murdock saved U21 Canada from getting behind. U21 Canada's Clayton Murdock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Canada from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goal looked a bit too open when John Gollogley came free, but Clayton Murdock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Geoffrey Delaney lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Clayton Murdock. Geoffrey Delaney took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clayton Murdock. Clayton Murdock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Adrien Cochran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Philip Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, U21 Canada's goalkeeper Clayton Murdock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geoffrey Delaney. Philip Walker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Caballero in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dele Ali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Walker was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The supporters of U21 Canada booed when U21 Ireland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barhart Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. U21 Ireland's Philip Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Ford in the 40th minute of play. Dele Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

John Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Dele Ali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Philip Walker made a huge save. Philip Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colin Caballero, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes U21 Ireland got a freekick which was hit by Perry Johnson. U21 Canada's Ezekiel Addison was substituted for Ramon Franco. The supporters of U21 Ireland booed when U21 Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Cochran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute John Gollogley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Murdock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Perry Johnson was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Ireland's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Perry Johnson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clayton Murdock quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Clayton Murdock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffrey Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dele Ali's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Philip Walker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dele Ali in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip Walker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. U21 Ireland's Philip Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colin Caballero in the 73rd minute of play. Clayton Murdock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riddock Gallagher, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, U21 Canada's Aimé Davenport got a free kick in the 75th minute. U21 Ireland's Liam Sheridan was substituted for Artuir Quinnless. Clayton Murdock came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Ireland's Liam Sheridan. But to his dismay, Liam Sheridan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Clayton Murdock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Sheridan in the 87th minute of the match. U21 Ireland were furious when Casey Gillmour was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 Ireland! Wilson Ford walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Colin Caballero fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Canada's protests and gave Colin Caballero a yellow card for diving instead. Colin Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
