Seating: 237, VIP seats: 20) Brant Munster made the kick off and thus started the match. 13 minutes into the match, U21 Turkey's goalkeeper Artaç Ekvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carleton Lewry. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Australia's goal looked a bit too open when Efsane Karagülle came free, but Arty Cordrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artaç Ekvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carleton Lewry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carleton Lewry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, U21 Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Dani Buckland came free, but Artaç Ekvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Barbaros Satılmış made a precise shot to the right of Arty Cordrey. U21 Australia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Arty Cordrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Bumin Taib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of U21 Turkey booed when U21 Australia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Ashwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arty Cordrey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Bumin Taib's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 0-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Efsane Karagülle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Bumin Taib in the 39th minute of play forced U21 Australia's goalkeeper Arty Cordrey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, U21 Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Munster came free, but Artaç Ekvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artaç Ekvan made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ed Death sent off a good shot on target. U21 Australia's Arty Cordrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emin Eren in the 46th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edison Cavani made a kick off. Arty Cordrey came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Turkey's Efsane Karagülle. But to his dismay, Efsane Karagülle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With an all-out effort, U21 Turkey's Arty Cordrey threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Atilla Bumin Taib, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Brant Munster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artaç Ekvan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience was convinced that Efsane Karagülle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arty Cordrey was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Efsane Karagülle sped through U21 Australia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arty Cordrey. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efsane Karagülle got free with Arty Cordrey in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, U21 Australia's goalkeeper Arty Cordrey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efsane Karagülle. Arty Cordrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Bumin Taib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efsane Karagülle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Arty Cordrey made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Henry Magrath's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artaç Ekvan was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, U21 Australia's goal looked a bit too open when Edison Cavani came free, but Arty Cordrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efsane Karagülle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arty Cordrey firmly grabbed it by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Edison Cavani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arty Cordrey, 1-5. U21 Turkey's Ali Atıf Taşdemir was substituted for Emrullah Çağar. If Edison Cavani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U21 Turkey eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
