Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Ahmed Anwar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A hard shot 6 in the game by Krzysztof Piatek from a close distance when the talented Saleh Mounir managed to make a qualified save. U21 Egypt's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Hajduk in the 7th minute of play forced U21 Egypt's goalkeeper Saleh Mounir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, U21 Egypt's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Hajduk came free, but Saleh Mounir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Ahmed Anwar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Leon Bînciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Mondrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Anwar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, U21 Egypt's Qasem Emad got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Edward Hajduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saleh Mounir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Egypt's Saleh Mounir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Egypt from getting a goal against them. After 31 minutes of play, U21 Poland's Edward Hajduk made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saleh Mounir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Qasem Emad hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Norbert Mondrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahaa Salem in the 38th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Saleh Mounir came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Edward Hajduk. But to his dismay, Edward Hajduk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 58th minute, Marwan Nizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Piatek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, U21 Egypt's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Hajduk came free, but Saleh Mounir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saleh Mounir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Piatek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saleh Mounir came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Edward Hajduk. But to his dismay, Edward Hajduk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. U21 Poland's Miroslaw Karaszkiewicz was substituted for Krzysztof Piatek. U21 Poland's Radomir Dzierwa was substituted for Edward Hajduk. 73 minutes into the match, Radomir Dzierwa notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of U21 Egypt's Saleh Mounir. Saleh Mounir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute Radomir Dzierwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saleh Mounir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saleh Mounir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Dzierwa went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the game, Radomir Dzierwa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Saleh Mounir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miroslaw Karaszkiewicz took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saleh Mounir. Saleh Mounir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomir Dzierwa in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saleh Mounir saved U21 Egypt from getting behind. After 91 played minutes U21 Egypt got a freekick which was hit by Sameeh Hany. Leon Bînciu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Saleh Mounir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Dzierwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, U21 Egypt's Mortada Radwan got a free kick in the 97th minute.
