He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Brazil reached it. Domenico Profeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Peixoto in the 48th minute of the match.

Fred Neto's late challenge caught a U21 Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Neto helped the player get up and apologised. Fred Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. U21 Italy's Aurelio Alessandrini was substituted for Ciro Uguccioni. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Brazil walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
