In the 9th minute of the match, Paulo Abar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abdel Haleem Ashraf saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 11 minutes, Paulo Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Egypt players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paulo Abar hit a great ball. Paulo Abar scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdel Haleem Ashraf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egypt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristofor Abaurre was slow to take the kick. During this time Bolivia's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Lehoi Abeita at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Egypt. 2-0. Abdel Haleem Ashraf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saturnin Abad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Yousif Ramadan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Huly Abar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yousif Ramadan to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdel Haleem Ashraf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Abar's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Bolivia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
