Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amaya Maira made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Amaya Maira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Víctor Javier Delpiano, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Arthur Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Amaya Maira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víctor Javier Delpiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vako Amaya in the 15th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Víctor Javier Delpiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atauri Caceres in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víctor Javier Delpiano saved U21 Chile from getting behind. U21 Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benvide Palenciano in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Benvide Palenciano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Víctor Javier Delpiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felipe Anush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pol Laime having to interfere. Pol Laime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Daire, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Amaya Maira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Víctor Javier Delpiano was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Atauri Caceres came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the U21 Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atauri Caceres couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vako Amaya in the 38th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Víctor Javier Delpiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víctor Javier Delpiano was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Amaya Maira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amaya Maira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 47 minutes into the game, David Olavarria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Víctor Javier Delpiano. David Olavarria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Anush stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, U21 Peru's Atauri Caceres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Víctor Javier Delpiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaya Maira in the 55th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Víctor Javier Delpiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 Peru's Vako Amaya got a free kick in the 57th minute. U21 Peru's Lolo Fernández was substituted for Atauri Caceres. U21 Peru's Basajaun Bierna was substituted for Amaya Maira. The supporters of U21 Chile booed when U21 Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vako Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Lolo Fernández cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Víctor Javier Delpiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U21 Chile's Tito Tapia was substituted for Felipe Anush. U21 Chile made a substitution. David Bowie replaced Abelardo Daire. U21 Peru's Pol Laime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Hawkins in the 66th minute of play. Víctor Javier Delpiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basajaun Bierna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, U21 Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Cobain to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Lolo Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víctor Javier Delpiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ishmael Ason in the 79th minute of play forced U21 Chile's goalkeeper Víctor Javier Delpiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of U21 Peru booed when U21 Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Ordoñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Steven Hawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Bowie got free with Pol Laime in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. U21 Peru's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Steven Hawkins 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-2. 93 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Lolo Fernández came free, but Víctor Javier Delpiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, U21 Peru's Pol Laime got control of the ball when Tito Tapia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tito Tapia in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pol Laime, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 97th minute, Ishmael Ason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Víctor Javier Delpiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. When the referee ended the match the U21 Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
