Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isac Björklund got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Lars Boman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8thth minute of the game Ramzi Gosnet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Sweden's Olov Ståhlman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olov Ståhlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maelgwn Le Bihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isac Björklund got free with Roger Pillot in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute of the match, Egil Alrot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roger Pillot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When U21 Sweden's Otto Lindsten in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 France's goalie prevented a goal. Olov Ståhlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramzi Gosnet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Björklund had several of the U21 France's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Roger Pillot as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 36th minute Romuald Dumet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Byström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Roger Pillot made a huge save. In the 39th minute, U21 Sweden's Patrik Byström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Pillot. Roger Pillot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Roger Pillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Lindsten in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
U21 France's Roger Pillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Andberg in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Ulf Andberg notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of U21 France's Roger Pillot. Roger Pillot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, U21 Sweden's Isac Björklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Pillot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Roger Pillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Roger Pillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Björklund in the 67th minute of the match. U21 France's Roger Pillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Alrot in the 68th minute of play. Roger Pillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Alrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Isac Björklund hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. U21 France made a substitution. Rayanne Perdereau replaced Alexis Jamet. In the 75th match minute, U21 Sweden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Björklund to maneuver through the defense. Lars Boman scored 6-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Pillot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Maelgwn Le Bihan could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Olov Ståhlman however easily saved by the left post. 86 minutes into the game, Valdemar Dahlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Roger Pillot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diamantis Diamant took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Pillot. Roger Pillot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. U21 France's Roger Pillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Björklund in the 94th minute of play.
