In the 77th minute Horaţiu Şiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxence Dubief saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Monico Macovei notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of France's Maxence Dubief. Mihăiţă Rada scored 5-2 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxence Dubief, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
