Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) In the 2ndth minute of the game Eduardo Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Saudi Arabia's Shjae Al Sarraf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Jalal Al Ammar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of U21 Brazil's Giovanni Dante. Giovanni Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Vieira in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shjae Al Sarraf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Palmeira in the 10th minute of play forced U21 Saudi Arabia's goalkeeper Shjae Al Sarraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Dante came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Saudi Arabia's Younis Al Sohali. But to his dismay, Younis Al Sohali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Tomás Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mnawer Al Jalahma in the 17th minute of play. U21 Brazil's Giovanni Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mnawer Al Jalahma in the 19th minute of play. Shjae Al Sarraf didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Brazil's Eduardo Vieira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Edvaldo Vander hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Jalal Al Ammar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Vander struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Shjae Al Sarraf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Brazil. Encho Rede kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Jaffer Sarkhoh fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Saudi Arabia's protests and gave Jaffer Sarkhoh a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Mnawer Al Jalahma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Giovanni Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvaldo Vander during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, U21 Brazil's Edvaldo Vander got a free kick in the 53rd minute. U21 Brazil's Giovanni Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Brazil from getting a goal against them. Jaffer Sarkhoh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, U21 Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Eduardo Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Saudi Arabia's Shjae Al Sarraf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Brazil's Giovanni Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mnawer Al Jalahma in the 76th minute of play. Eduardo Vieira scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shjae Al Sarraf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Mnawer Al Jalahma came free, but Giovanni Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes U21 Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Palmeira. Giovanni Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jalal Al Ammar, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to U21 Brazil getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Remo Guimarães hit a great ball. A hard shot by Hamdan Al Sharaf from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Giovanni Dante's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edvaldo Vander was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th minute, Edvaldo Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
