Entrevista
Conocí a Peto- después de la renuncia de nuestro editor gráfico (por falta de tiempo), mi idea era que participara con nosotros, no fue así por cuestiones de agenda (casado, 1 hija, además de un trabajo son suficientes obligaciones), pero terminó enseñándome algunas cosas para que aprendiera lo necesario. Él ya era conocido dentro del diseño, por mi parte agradecí sus consejo. Sabía que era buena gente, lo sigo pensando y no soy el único.

Hincha de River, padre de familia, vive en Buenos Aires (Argentina). Roberto, ¿podrías presentarte a los lectores?
Hola a todos, y especialmente a Nacho (Rodrigoazul77) que tiene
el excelentisimo honor de entrevistarme, ya que soy como un rockstar y doy muy
pocas , jajaja (broma, broma). Soy
Peto-, apodo que viene de mi nombre Roberto. Como se ha dicho, soy más conocido en MZ por ponerme a
hacer dibujitos que por meritos deportivos, pero algo es algo… Tengo la
fortuna de combinar mis pasiones.

En primer lugar, quería partir esta
conversación agradeciendo la influencia positiva que has ejercido en nuestra
revista, y particularmente en mi trabajo como editor y a veces diseñador de la The Zone Chile. No sé si
lo sabrás, pero difícilmente este Torneo hubiera visto la luz si no hubiera
sido por la creación del Tema “XML ::: La magia en detalles” en ManagerZone Habla (foro latino) y la
idea de llevar a cabo una competición local por parte de Pequemarchi {a la que
hay que sumar elaprendizaje de algunas herramientas para hacerlo posible}.
Para algunos el escudo de su equipo es algo
secundario e incluso accesorio dentro de ManagerZone, para otros una cuestión
de identidad. Para ti, ¿qué representa un escudo y qué importancia crees que
tiene? Y de la misma manera, ¿Por qué crees que “XML ::: La magia en detalles” se
volvió popular?
Ambas cosas son verdad… hay gente que no le da
importancia al tema del escudo, y hay otras que lo toman como una cuestión de identidad y se
preocupa tanto en la imagen de su club como andar bien en el juego. De a poco
he notado que ha crecido muchísimo la preocupación de tener un escudo original,
creativo y que apenas se vea uno ya reconozca de quien se trata…La mayoría de las veces uno ni sabe el nombre
de usuario de alguien pero de ver el escudo en los foros, es como que ya sabes
que es alguien habitual o familiar.
Diseño Ganador 2012
El thread “XML ::: La magia en detalles” nació de
la fascinación que tengo de ver los escudos, al principio hacía escudos en
PhotoShop y Corel y los regalaba a los usuarios para que los pusieran en su
PDD. Pero fue a partir de un thread que armó Willynet33 (durante la navidad de 2012), fue una “Competencia
de Escudos Navideños” que tuve la suerte de ser el ganador, fue que me
agrande y empecé a hacer escudos a quienes me lo pedían. Ya en el segundo “Concurso Navideño” (2013),
que lo ganó un pibito llamado “Nanonieto”, y bueno… ese muchacho le dió otro
sentido a todo, haciendo genialidades, sobre todo llevando a los escudos a otro
nivel, con efectos, y degrade increíbles.

En cierto sentido, este recuento que haces es
un recorrido histórico. Entiendo que por una parte, el pionero de los concursos
ha sido Willynet33; y por otra parte, que dentro del diseño los pioneros han
sido tanto Nanonieto como tú.De los degradé
y los efectos de Nano ¿qué crees que es lo que viene como tendencia en el
diseño?
Si, los torneo que organizó Willy dieron
puntapié a otro, para navidad, para pascuas, y fue así como se fueron sumando proyectos de
artistas. Con el tiempo aparecieron gente que la rompen: Nanonieto, como ya
dije, Guidovolpe, Manigoldo de Cancer, San-p, y alguno más que seguro me olvido… Lo
que pasó también es que estos bestias dibujan tan bien, que en cierta manera
cohiben a los demás, y en lugar de diseñar ellos sus escudos, empezaron a
pedir que les diseñaran los escudos. Así Nano, Mani, y me incluyo, hemos regalado muchos
escudos y la mayoría de las veces por un “gracias genio”, cuando hacer estos
escudo llevan muchas horas.

El interés por los escudos lo quisimos
proyectar en la revista, el último álbum publicado ha sido la publicación más
vista de la The Zone Chile, y muy posiblemente, la más vista del año dentro de todo el universo de
revistas de ManagerZone. ¿Cómo ves el Torneo? ¿Qué cosas importantes crees que
aportará al diseño de escudos?
Ya hay una revolución. Esta competencia que ha
creado TZ Chile es maravillosa… primero porque nunca se hizo algo así a gran
nivel, por lo menos yo no conozco, y la gran aceptación a nivel mundial me
parece increíble. Ya de movida, los que se inscribieron, a la mayoría le paso
que retocaron sus escudos con el afán de mejorarlos, y eso es lo que aporta, el
interés, es ese otro paso más, a embellecer este juego… Para mi tu escudo es
como tu carta de presentación, podes proyectar poderío, elegancia,
intimidación, y con este torneo pasa esto, que todos quieren destacarse y
ganarlo como si fuera una final del mundo.

Gracias por el piropo jaja . Organizar el Torneo de Escudos ha sido una
tarea ardua de la que Pequemarchi y Manigoldo de Cancer pueden dar fe de ello. La verdad, no sabíamos en que nos metíamos, hemos registrado más
de 700 escudos, casi 600 válidos, muchos muy buenos. ¿Qué escudos son los que
más te han impresionado? ¿Por qué?
Siempre he notado que hay países donde le dan
más importancia a este tipo de cuestiones… toda Latinoamérica siempre es
vanguardia en diseño de sus escudos, camisetas, PDD… y en el resto del mundo es
como que son algo más fríos, a excepción de China y Turquía que son bastante
fanáticos.
Escudos que me encantan: El de Deportivo Andaluz,
siempre me gusto, acordate que lo dije tiempo atrás antes de existir este
torneo, y encima las mejoras hechas lo potenciaron. Después, otros que me
gustan son el de: Metro80, Sepultura de almas, Dyslazs, pero mi preferido es el
de DZSO1, ya que es un ejemplo de cómo me gustan que los escudos. Que parezcan
de futbol, y no dibujitos.

En mi caso, tanto el nombre del equipo como el
escudo están relacionados con una experiencia personal: cinco años en
Andalucía, una novia andaluza, una familia de amigos y un agradecimiento
infinito hacia esta tierra. Puedo decir que para mí el escudo es una cuestión
de identidad, las mejoras hechas se las debo a Manigoldo de Cancer, los efectos aún no los aprendí . Sé que como el mío, hay otros que tienen una historia detrás.
Dime, ¿hay alguna historia detrás del leoncito del Zafiro FC?
Claro que lo tiene. La historia viene así: un
día me puse a dibujar escudos XML para hacer una página donde los usuarios
pudieran descargarse un escudo como en PSGoodies. Hice varios modelos y en uno había un león y lo dibuje igual, pero
me tentó para ponerlo en mi escudo pero personalizándolo. Yo tenía un escudo
muy básico y lo deje quizás por nostalgia. Pero era momento de un cambio, y
elegídicho animal porque como soy del
signo zodiacal de Leo, siempre el león tiene algo que ver conmigo. Hecho el
escudo, le varié la forma, hice un hexágono y quedo un escudazo que me encanta .
A partir de allí Zafiro FC pasó a apodarse: "El León de Haedo".

El león siempre ha sido símbolo de poderío y de
linaje noble. Al final de esta breve entrevista, que espero sea el inicio de
una serie (tengo en mente realizar una a tres bandas con los escudos más
votados de la primera ronda y seguramente voy a necesitar tu experiencia y
ayuda), no quiero acabarla sin agradecerte la buena onda a nombre personal y
del equipo de redacción. De aquí en adelante el espacio es todo tuyo, puedes
decir lo que quieras, enviar saludos, etc.
Queria darles un gran saludos a todos,
especialmente con la llegada de un año nuevo que comienza deseándole a todos
que sea lo más prospero y lleno de felicidad. Y desearle éxitos para el torneo
de escudos a los que se inscribieron.
Y finalizar diciéndole a la gente de TZ Chile
que hicieron un laburazo, sin precedentes y que dejara huellas todo este tiempo
invertido y que siempre será de referencia y de ayuda para la comunidad.

Interview
I knew a Peto after the resignation of our graphic editor (for lack of time), my idea was invite him for participate to us. This was not possible (agenda matters: married, one daughter, one work) but Roberto finished teaching me a few things to learn necessary so. First, I should like to begin this conversation by thanking the positive influence that you have had on our magazine, and particularly in my work as editor and sometimes designer of The Zone Chile. I do not know if you know, but this tournament haven't seen the light had it not been for the creation of Topic: “XML ::: La magia en detalles” in ManagerZone Talk (Latin Forum) and the idea of conducting a local competition in Chile by Pequemarchi {to which must be added learning some tools to make this possible}.
For some users the badge is secondary and even within ManagerZone an accessory , for others it's a question of identity. For you, what represents a badge and how important you think it is? And in the same way, why do you think "XML ::: Magic in details" became popular?
Both are true. Some people do not give importance to the issue of the badge, and there are others who take it as a matter of identity and cares so much in the image of your club like riding well in the game. Gradually I noticed that a lot has been growing concern of having an original and creative badge, and hardly see one, you can recognize who it is…Most of the time you does not know the nickname of someone, but when you see the badge in the forums, you can recognize that he's someone habitual or family.
Winner design in 2012
The thread “XML ::: La magia en detalles” born of the fascination that I have to see the badges, originally I made badges in PhotoShop and Corel and gave to some users for his "Word from the Owner". We wanted to carry this interest in the badges to our magazine. The last album released was the publication most viewed of The Zone Chile. How you see the tournament ? What important things do you think will contribute to designing badges?
Already we have a revolution. This competition created by TZ Chile is wonderful… first because it was never done something at a high level, at least I do not know, and the great worldwide acceptance seems incredible. Already to begin, those who signed up, the most people retouched their badges with the aim of improving, and that's what the contest brings, interest, it's this another step for further beautify this game… For me your badge is like your cover letter, you can project power, elegance, intimidation, and in this tournament is happening, everyone wants to stand out and win. Thanks for the compliment jaja . Organize this contest has been an arduous task, Pequemarchi and Manigoldo de Cancer can attest to that. Honestly, we did not know we were getting into, we have recorded over 700 badges, almost 600 valid, many very good. What are the badges that most impressed you? Why?
I've always noticed that there are countries where they give more importance to such issues… Latin America is always avant-garde of the badges, TWO, t-shirts etc.… and the rest of the World is like that are somewhat colder, except for China and Turkey, because they are quite fanatical.
Badges that like me: Deportivo Andaluz, I always liked, remember that I said
long ago before this tournament and the improvements made over,
potentiated their image. Then others that I like are those of: Metro80,
Sepultura de Almas, Dyslazs, but my favorite is to DZSO1 because it is
an example of how I like the badges. That seem football badge, not
cartoons.

In my case, both the team name and the badge are related to a personal experience: five years living in Andalusia, an Andalusian girlfriend, a family friend and an infinite gratitude to this land. I can say that for me the badge is a question of identity, the improvements made are work of Manigoldo de Cancer, I not learned to made effects. Be that as mine, there are others who have a history behind it. Tell me, is there a story behind the Lion of Zafiro FC?
Of course it does. The story is this: one day I started drawing XML badges for a page where users could download badges as in PSGoodies. I made several models and one had a lion and I draw the same, but I was tempted to put on my badge, but customizing it. I had a very basic badge and I leave perhaps for nostalgia. But it was time for a change, and I chose this animal because I'm of the zodiac sign of Leo, the lion always has something to do with me. Made the badge, I changed details. I made a hexagon and stay a great badge that I love . From there, Zafiro FC is named as "The Lion of Haedo".
