Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Morales Moreira made the kick off which started today's match. In the 9th minute, José Pedro Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maurinho Mendonça 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Paulo Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maurinho Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Mendonça couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Freitas came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Albuquerque hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brazil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Demis Katsarolidis was slow to take the kick. During this time PIAUÍ FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Baturhan Oytun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alysson Rezende quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 33 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morales Moreira came free, but Serginho Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brazil were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after PIAUÍ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Moraes took the corner. The corner ended in Marquinhos Xande almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PIAUÍ FC's Serginho Nogueira did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baturhan Oytun in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alysson Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Juninho Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brazil's Arthur de Moraes got a free kick in the 47th minute. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Trancoso in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Baturhan Oytun made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Trancoso came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morales Moreira in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the PIAUÍ FC defense, Leandro Heidemann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serginho Nogueira. The PIAUÍ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serginho Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Brazil made a substitution. Marco Vianna replaced Leandro Heidemann. Brazil's Clayton Gol was substituted for Maurinho Mendonça. PIAUÍ FC's Fernandinho Mesquita was substituted for Demis Katsarolidis. PIAUÍ FC made a substitution. Leonel Fero replaced Richard Albuquerque. Denílson Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Nogueira having to interfere. In the 71st minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturhan Oytun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Mesquita in the 74th minute of play forced Brazil's goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brazil's goalie and right to Mete Gøl. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brazil's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 79 minutes into the match, PIAUÍ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gol came free, but Serginho Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernandinho Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Denílson Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serginho Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 91st minute Fernandinho Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Gøl in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alysson Rezende saved Brazil from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Denílson Tepedino notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of PIAUÍ FC's Serginho Nogueira. Serginho Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brazil had won after a very even match.
