But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Firmin couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Arthur Zico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bernardo Bautista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leopoldo Bautista struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Zé Carlos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INCONA FC. Rubinho Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 minutes, Basilio Orlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INCONA FC and the Leripe Lifestyle players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute Caio Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to INCONA FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Basilio Orlin hit a great ball. Laércio Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes, INCONA FC's Isidoro Chumo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Carlos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INCONA FC reached it. In the 38thth minute of the game Caio Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INCONA FC's Bernardo Bautista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio Félix to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caio Félix in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Bautista saved INCONA FC from getting behind. If Jacinto Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Celsinho Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leripe Lifestyle's Celsinho Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, INCONA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Firmin to maneuver through the defense. When Leripe Lifestyle's Caio Félix in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INCONA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Bautista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Félix in the 87th minute of play. INCONA FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Leripe Lifestyle's much stronger midfield.
