Ignacio Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Dijoux in the 28th minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Dijoux in the 42nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Ignacio Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zorros del Desierto were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Enoch made a kick off. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Friederichs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Dijoux in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Domingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Dijoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Dijoux in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dijoux came free, but Ignacio Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Eren Jaeger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zorros del Desierto! Clark Kent had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Filomeno Olivos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 96th minute, Darío Friederichs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chile's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alex Dijoux 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3.
