But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Indalecio couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Guzman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Lopez's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Indalecio in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Guzman saved Honduras from getting behind. When Baraja Española FC's Benigno Indalecio in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Baraja Española FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cosme Celio hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Raúl Corpeño took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Silvinho Pimenta to make any attempt to save it. Selvin Rosales made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Baraja Española FC's Natalio Raymon. With a little luck, Baraja Española FC's Silvinho Pimenta got control of the ball when Misael Sigaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selvin Rosales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Silvinho Pimenta made a huge save. Misael Sigaran hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Cosme Celio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eraldo Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Indalecio in the 35th minute of the match. Raúl Corpeño came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvinho Pimenta could save by the left post. In the 41st minute, László Illés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Jeremias Lopez made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ricardo Viscarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Selvin Rosales made a precise shot to the right of Silvinho Pimenta. Baraja Española FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Benigno Indalecio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Eraldo Guzman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Cosme Celio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Baraja Española FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Beti. In the 62nd minute Jeremias Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Lopez took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Guzman. Eraldo Guzman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's Jeremias Lopez got a free kick in the 65th minute. Silvinho Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selvin Rosales in the 66th minute of the match. Benigno Indalecios short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Eraldo Guzman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benigno Indalecio struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Eraldo Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baraja Española FC. When László Illés was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. László Illés hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Misael Sigaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Honduras's Ricardo Viscarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvinho Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. A collision led to Baraja Española FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cosme Celio hit a great ball. Silvinho Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Corpeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Silvinho Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selvin Rosales in the 84th minute of the match. Silvinho Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Corpeño in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Raúl Corpeño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvinho Pimenta was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. 95 minutes into the match, Raúl Corpeño notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Baraja Española FC's Silvinho Pimenta. Silvinho Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
