An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Benedetto in the 5th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Arturo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Lorenzo Arce was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to La Zabaleta getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lorenzo Arce hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Isidro Cordara got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Gizon. Crişan Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ramiq Muradov sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Francesco in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, La Zabaleta's Herminio Cresconio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Crişan Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Cenan Savlet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Guib was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 35 minutes, Cenan Savlet made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Zabaleta's Arturo Guib tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiq Muradov in the 48th minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cenan Savlet to strike the kick off in the second half. Albin Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Crişan Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crişan Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Cresconio went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Benedetto came free, but Arturo Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Dario Benedetto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciclista FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Benedetto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Cenan Savlet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Ånger in the 70th minute of play. La Zabaleta's Amadeo Gizon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Justo Osorio, made in the 75th minute of the game. The throw-in from Justo Osorio in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Zabaleta's Amadeo Gizon. In the 81st minute Ramiq Muradov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Ramiq Muradov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Crişan Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramiq Muradov took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Crişan Taffarel. Crişan Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Ciclista FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
