Benedicto Naelio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Diego Larra 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Jesus Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Benedicto Naelio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 40 minutes into the game, Benedicto Naelio lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Diego Larra. Armando Felipillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Larra could save by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Naelio made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Juventud Unida S L got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Jatsu. Diego Larra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Benedicto Naelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Argentina made a substitution. Amado Arotza replaced Paolo-César Maldini. Argentina's Vicente Nevada was substituted for Benedicto Naelio. Diego Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Amado Arotza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Amado Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Estebe to maneuver through the defense. Frits Kerselaers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lev Yashin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Argentina's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Gagriel in the 87th minute of play. Diego Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Larra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Arotza in the 95th minute of the match. Argentina were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Juventud Unida S L for a fine match.
