LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Oberto in the 4th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Matias Escobar rounded LinuX F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Bernardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ensar Irgatbaşı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Arias made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Juan Herrera sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Herrera got free with Bernardo Arias in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Matarrita in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Oberto saved Buenaventura FC from getting behind. If Enrique Gómez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Gómez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Arias having to interfere. Hugo Viquez charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Viquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Viquez kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Américo Oberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenaventura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Oberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Padilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Buenaventura FC's Jorge Oberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. LinuX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenaventura FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Alberto Matarrita got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Matias Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matias Escobar came free, but Bernardo Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Viquez to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Viquez was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Hugo Viquez got a free kick in the 81st minute. Matias Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes LinuX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manrique Medina. LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Escobar in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LinuX F.C.'s zone, Enrique Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Arias came out of the goal and Enrique Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buenaventura FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
