With a little luck, DESCONADOS AFC's German Dalmu got control of the ball when Leo Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Jerrold in the 8th minute of the match. Leopoldo Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The Recompou Storm fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Recompou Storm's Leo Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 33 played minutes Recompou Storm got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Aires. Leopoldo Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Ruperto Intxixu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Recompou Storm's Mateo Aires quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 43rd minute, Leo Cruz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of German Dalmu. The goal made the score 2-0. Leo Cruz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of German Dalmu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Lorenz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to DESCONADOS AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ruperto Intxixu hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Leo Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DESCONADOS AFC's German Dalmu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leo Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Recompou Storm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Cruz couldn't finish the play. German Dalmu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Cruz in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ruperto Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Quirce charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Quirce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Recompou Storm booed when DESCONADOS AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Santos Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes in the game Fidel Mendebal after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Leopoldo Naldo. A very good opportunity. When Anier Manny fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DESCONADOS AFC's protests and gave Anier Manny a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Leo Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. German Dalmu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Efren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Dalmu having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the DESCONADOS AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Recompou Storm.
