Spectators: 4686 (Terracing: 3000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 25) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osvald Lundgren started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Svante Ek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamporna IF's Birger Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Ek in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Svante Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rimbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svante Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ulf Asmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rimbo IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Asmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Svante Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Harald Eklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rimbo IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Rimbo IF's Ulf Asmundsson in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulf Asmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Birger Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvald Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anton Löfdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svante Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Lundin having to interfere. After the first half Rimbo IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

56 minutes into the match, Lamporna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Ek came free, but Birger Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Svante Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rimbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svante Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Lamporna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Ek came free, but Birger Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes Lamporna IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henning Jansson who took care of the corner kick. Rimbo IF's Ulf Asmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birger Lundin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svante Ek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. After some careless play in the Lamporna IF defense, Svante Ek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birger Lundin. The Lamporna IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Lundin should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Rimbo IF's Svante Ek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Osvald Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ulf Asmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rimbo IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Asmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Rimbo IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lamporna IF throughout the match.
