With 9 minutes on the clock, Klement Jajecznica commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Republika Grudziądz's Emil Brzeszczak got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zenon Indyk. In the 15th minute, Wojciech Raflewski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zenon Indyk, passed just outside the right post. 1-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Waclaw Gondela elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zenon Indyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Fink in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes FC Albionicus got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Banach. Waclaw Gondela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute of the match Szymon Jenkot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jedrzej Oborski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Wojciech Raflewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenon Indyk. FC Albionicus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wojciech Raflewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wojciech Raflewski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes FC Albionicus got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Przewozik. In the 62nd minute, Zula Fink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Republika Grudziądz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Jedrzej Oborski made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Waclaw Gondela sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waclaw Gondela got free with Jedrzej Oborski in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Zula Fink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Republika Grudziądz's supporters rose to their feet, but Zula Fink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Indyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Republika Grudziądz's Jedrzej Oborski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Republika Grudziądz from getting a goal against them. Republika Grudziądz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
