Spectators: 1028 (Terracing: 772, Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Romulo Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Kalila Lanong sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the match, U21 Mexico's goalkeeper Romulo Otsoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chajju Arora. In the 6th minute, Roque Roso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Alto Gigante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajendra Dhaliwal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rajendra Dhaliwal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alto Gigante in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to U21 Mexico getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alto Gigante hit a great ball. Alto Gigante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Roque Roso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 India's Rajendra Dhaliwal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rajendra Dhaliwal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Roso's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Alto Gigante scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rajendra Dhaliwal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rajendra Dhaliwal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franek Kluczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 30 minutes, Alto Gigante made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. U21 India's Rajendra Dhaliwal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 minutes of play, U21 Mexico's Roque Roso made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rajendra Dhaliwal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dalip Kapoor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in U21 India's zone, Alto Gigante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rajendra Dhaliwal came out of the goal and Alto Gigante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Chajju Arora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Romulo Otsoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roque Roso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Alto Gigante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rajendra Dhaliwal. U21 India's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alto Gigante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Alto Gigante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rajendra Dhaliwal came out and tried to block the shot, but Alto Gigante slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 56th minute. Romulo Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chajju Arora in the 59th minute of the match. Romulo Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalila Lanong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, U21 Mexico's Alto Gigante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rajendra Dhaliwal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Roso during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. U21 Mexico's Carmelo Tiniebra was substituted for Alto Gigante. Roque Roso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Carmelo Tiniebra notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of U21 India's Rajendra Dhaliwal. Rajendra Dhaliwal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Carlos Osoitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rajendra Dhaliwal, passed just outside the right post. After 77 minutes, Emanuel Ogazón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Mexico and the U21 India players grew even worse after the yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Devananda Shah in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Mexico's Guido Pietro. In the 81st minute Franek Kluczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajendra Dhaliwal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U21 Mexico booed when U21 India was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalip Kapoor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, U21 Mexico's Carlos Osoitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rajendra Dhaliwal. Rajendra Dhaliwal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. 90 minutes into the match, U21 Mexico's Carmelo Tiniebra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rajendra Dhaliwal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmelo Tiniebra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Rajendra Dhaliwal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Carlos Osoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. When the match was over U21 Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 India throughout the match.
