When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Brann Morrison put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iker Baia. Baiste O'Neill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis-Sven Borgmann in the 30th minute of the match. Brann Morrison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Baia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. U21 Ireland's Baiste O'Neill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Lüger in the 66th minute of play.
