Spectators: 10301 (Terracing: 7726, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Conrao Aleman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Wilder Guevara made a huge save. U21 Peru's Conrao Aleman got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilder Guevara made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ilixo Maza sent off a good shot on target. After 10 played minutes U21 Peru got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Rivelino. In the 13th minute of the match, Lourenco Cuenllas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilder Guevara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sayvion Labastida hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Suero Arambarri during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to U21 Colombia getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Suero Arambarri hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, U21 Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrao Aleman to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Ilixo Maza made a precise shot to the right of Wilder Guevara. U21 Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Jordy Reyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilder Guevara came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Peru's Lourenco Cuenllas. But to his dismay, Lourenco Cuenllas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 44th match minute, U21 Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Lev Yashim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Azuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edorta Saez in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

U21 Peru made a substitution. Abelardo Daniel replaced Benino Carballo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Affonso made a kick off. Wilder Guevara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Affonso in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, U21 Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ilixo Maza came free, but Wilder Guevara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes U21 Peru got a freekick which was hit by Lourenco Cuenllas. In the 68th play minute Agustin Affonso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lev Yashim. 2-1. In the 70th match minute, U21 Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Tapia to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the game, Ilixo Maza landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 72 minutes, Sayvion Labastida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Colombia and the U21 Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes U21 Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Sayvion Labastida. Lourenco Cuenllas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilder Guevara having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Xzavaier Antonijoan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, U21 Colombia's Garcia Azuela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lev Yashim. Lev Yashim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With 94 minutes on the clock, Reyes Rio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 93 minutes into the game, one of U21 Colombia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The excitement rose when U21 Peru's Conrao Aleman after 97 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for U21 Colombia's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U21 Peru fully deserved thier win.
