An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidmantas Minkevičius in the 89th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Petr Socha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Lithuania's goalkeeper Lukas Danilevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimír Lukš. Lithuania's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
